New video at the Riding Centre
We are very proud to introduce our new video -
How to ride an Icelandic horse.
Now all our guests at the Riding Centre will be shown a 5 minute video of how to ride an Icelandic horse before going on any of our daytours. We believe this is the first time such a video for beginners has been made so we are extremely proud.
The film was made by one of our guides, Mr. Steingrímur Karlsson (Denni) and the narrator is another Íshestar guide, Ms. Svandís Dóra Einarsdóttir. It was taken in and around the Riding Centre, the horse´s name is Garpur, ridden by Margrét, our stable supervisor.
In spring we did a CD (narrated by Silja, our office manager) that is played on the bus during the transfer to our stable. There we inform our guests what to expect on their riding tour as well as a short introduction of the Icelandic horse breed. As you can see we are constantly improving our service!
