Íshestar´s Kjölur group made it to Hveravellir
Although the Kjölur road has not been opened yet for public driving (as you can see on
this road map from today) Íshestar´s Kjölur group got a special permission from the authorities and made it to Hveravellir today.
When riding, one does not need any 4 wheel drive as horsepower gets you everywhere......
Ása, our farmer and head chef on the Kjölur tour, made it also on her kitchen truck so our group is now enjoying life at the natural pool in Hveravellir while she is preparing a delicious dinner.
