All Íshestar tours are on schedule

Dear Íshestar friends,
We would just like to assure you again that all our summer tours are on
schedule. Although the eruption is still active at Eyjafjallajökull
glacier, the glacier around the eruption has melted so the risk of
floods from the eruption is over and the ash fall is limited to a small
area around the eruption.
Before or after your riding tour, you can also add a special tour to
see the volcano, by Super Jeep, Snowmobile or even a Helicopter! Our
partner ÍH-Travel is happy to assist you in any way. Please contact

Our horses are getting into shape these days and we are all looking forward to see you this summer.
We would like to remind you that eruptions are quite common in Iceland.
This eruption has received more international media attention than
previous eruptions as it affected international flights. However since
Íshestar was established in 1982 we have had seven eruptions to deal
with and none have caused us any trouble.
